I’m not smart or clever.

I can barely figure out how to navigate the internet. 

I can’t even navigate this fucking website. 

I feel old and senile.

It doesn’t keep me from seeing the blatant truth though. 

We are so fucked. 

So unbelievably, irrevocably fucked. 

Bigger idiots than me with a lust for money and power are currently looting us for every hard-earned penny and lying to our faces that they’re doing us a favor. 

And we’re letting it happen. 

I wish I was smart enough to do something about it. 

Or ignorant enough not to care. 

Sitting where I am in this middle ground of too much knowledge about what’s going on and not enough brains or power to do anything about it is excruciatingly frustrating.
