A Rotting Orange

You’re scared of actual diversity
Because you thrive in mediocrity
You claim your popularity
But have no mental capacity

In truth, you are weak and frail
Terrified you may one day fail
Be forced to pay for all your crimes
So you jam the signal at all times

Your threats are vast, your resolve flimsy
You change your mind at your latest whimsy
How you wish you controlled all others
As deep inside, your ego smothers

For there is nothing about you worth loving
You are not the slightest bit giving
All you do is take, take, take
Eventually, the dam will break

You cannot trust those at your side
How they’ll twist the knife in stride
You’re a booger on a desk
Drying, crusting, time to rest

From the mouth of babes you’re seen
The world’s grossest old has-been
One day soon perhaps you’ll perish
A day that billions will all cherish
