Day 19 Poem: Ignorance

Just look at you today
So proud in your ignorance
You worship an orange God
In obsession bordering limerence

Furthering education
Is the bane of your existence
You’ll face death with a grimace
To keep the cure at a distance

It’s a shame you feel beloved
To a man who hates your guts
Who would step over your corpse
To avoid inconvenient ruts

You deck out your pickup
In flags from bottom to top
Showing blind obedience
To a racist greasy slob

I hope it makes you happy
To relish in other’s pain
Because if orange gremlin gets his way
We will never have peace again.
