Day 23 Poem: Take a Walk

Take a walk outside today
Or a roll, if that’s your style
If the weather’s suitable
Consider a whole mile

Breathe in all that fresh clean air
As you stretch your muscles well
Don’t stay home all cramped inside
Escape that stuffy hell

Listen to the tweeting birds
Hear windchimes as they tinkle
Throw down by a fine old tree
And pull a Rip Van Winkle

Embrace a day so full of life
Let the Sun kiss your bare skin
Tomorrow is another day
So take a walk again.
